Role
The Managing Company’s mission is to represent and manage the “SEED CAPITAL DE BIZKAIA, FONDO DE CAPITAL RIESGO” Fund which it is in charge of managing.
This Fund is comprised of the assets contributed by its “participants” (in the case of “SEED CAPITAL DE BIZKAIA”, these are the Managing Company’s shareholders). These are used to invest in business projects approved by the Managing Company’s Executive Committee after analysing and studying them.
The Management Company’s duties include:
- Attracting assets.
- Analysing and selecting projects.
- Making the investment.
- Supporting the management of companies in which we have a holding.
- Monitoring and following up the companies in which we have a holding.
- Disinvestment.
